The Haitian Community Awakens to Bonjour Haiti!

HTN Programming, Inc. (“HTN”), successor to the Haitian Television Network of America, is awakening South Florida every weekday morning with Bonjour Haiti, the new and exciting cable show featuring the latest news from Haiti, sports, entertainment and local news for and about the Haitian community.  Until recently, HTN was only available as an al-a-carte cable service by paying an extra fee – now, as part of the Comcast Classic Digital Cable line up, Bonjour Haiti is a free service.  Bonjour Haiti made its South Florida debut on Tuesday, May first.

Bonjour Haiti, the new face of HTN Programming, provides an innovative format for its viewers, presented by the Haitian Community’s most respected and talented personalities.  Heading up the news/sports/entertainment group are Elizabeth Guerin, Nicky Mix ( Nixon Saint Hubert ),
Gilbert Fevry and other journalists from the community and in Haiti

Bonjour Haiti is available Monday through Friday mornings from six to nine.  Thanks to the technique of “simulcasting,” the programming is simultaneously available to viewers on Comcast Cable Channel 689 and to radio listeners on WOCN, 1450 on the AM dial.  Cable viewers leaving for work can continue to listen to Bonjour Haiti on their radios.  The programming format is designed for total compatibility between the mediums of television and radio.  This week, the HTN Network and Bonjour Haiti become available in The Bahamas on Cable Bahamas Channel 55.
